The RTS trailer was incredible.
I know people are saying NEVER, but eventually with enough killer titles like lost odyssey and blue dragon people will jump in.

Now your asking yourself, why then, why not now.
The answer is that MS needs to make money with a 400$ console this christmas, as opposed to loosing potential hundreds of million of dollars. Also the competition is pointless because launch buyers aren't going to jump ship for any reason, so no threat. Only until the all hardcore buy their PS3's could MS ever drop the price.
So that means Q1-Q2 2007
Well this guys somewhat accurate. The price drop won't be that soon because Sony Hardcore fans will still be buying them so about Q3 2007 is when they'll bundle or make a small drop because normal people don't buy consoles that expensive.
Although that still won't help enough. Even a 100 dollar drop wouldn't convince the majority of people who plan on waiting till it comes down to 300-400 ATLEAST. Remember the PS2 only sold when it hit 200 bucks.
How is that gonna help?? If someone wants to check it out they can wait in a 5 minute line or go to any store really.
People who drop 600 bucks + a couple games don't need to see a demo console to make their decision. If they're gonna do it, they're gonna do it for their games they grew up with.
